Sunny needs a foster home!

This beautiful girl is in a shelter in Dallas which is closing. We are working with them to find foster care for her until a forever home can be found. If you can help, please contact Toni at toni@strayfromtheheart.org or call 718-544-9175.

Sunny is the last of a litter of puppies that Joy, thelocal ACO, found in the front yard of one of the less"enlightened" residents of Lake Dallas. The youngpuppies were in a box out in the front yard with a sign saying "Free Puppies, Take One". Joy says that Sunny is an Anatolian mix, she saw themother. Sunny is only about 45 pounds at a year old, so she is much smaller than any Anatolian.

This beautiful young dog has lived in the shelterpractically all of her life! She will have been in the shelter one year on June 30th. Any dog that canlast a year in a shelter has got to be a great dog, and capable of enduring practically anything. She is a very nice girl. She has had her DHLPP vaccinations. We will get her spayed and her shots updated.
